Giving
Your gift of any amount is important and expands our reach to Tribal Nations and language revitalization practitioners. Gifts to NILI support a range of endeavors and programs, including Tribal outreach, Elder involvement, undergraduate and graduate student research and travel, and Summer Institute participation. For example:
- $50 prints Indigenous language storybooks for Tribal communities, schools, and libraries.
- $200 contributes to meaningful and skill-building employment for undergraduate students.
- $500 supports online workshops that are open to all and free for participants
- $4000 covers registration fees and housing for a community language team of one teacher and an Elder to attend Summer Institute.
Your gift creates a legacy of support into the future. Options for extended support include:
- A permanent endowment with a major gift
- An estate gift
- A multi-year pledge
Please contact Robert Elliott, Director, at robert@uoregon.edu for more information. Gifts to NILI are processed by the University of Oregon Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
